Account details from the bill .....Standard SC Electricity DD 9-11 Hour Off-Peak.
This is a dual MPAN supply with 2 separate meters & was set up around 35 years ago I think.
Does this mean Off peak rate from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm ??
I am in the North East area, info on this link shows Economy Off Peak hours 00.30 hrs to 7.30 hrs
I don't think this is my supply is Economy 7 though ??

TIAOff-Peak meter
If you're an Off-Peak customer, you will have two separate meters installed in your home:
- An Off-Peak meter which usually supplies electricity to heat a particular space and/or heat water for typically 8 to 13 hours a day
- A separate meter which records all other electricity supplied to your home 24 hours a day
Some Off -Peak tariffs can have up to 15 hours of availability and have summer and/or weekends too.
If you are unsure of the times your Off-Peak meter operates at, please get in touch with us and we can help.
If you have one of these meters, you now have the option to switch to one of our standard meter tariffs with one rate for your Off-Peak meter without the need for a meter exchange. Call us on 0800 048 0575 or 0330 100 7575 and we can discuss the tariff options available to you.
Remember, you can continue to take up our range of standard meter tariffs for your 24 hour meter.

It operates 24/7, but obviously it's your choice when to call.0

105 is for power issues not billing issues.

If you've got a slightly obscure complex metering scheme then the only people who can answer your question are the those who supply you. Alternatively sit and watch for when the meter switches over to off peak rates, there's usually an indicator of some kind to show when the meter is running or check when your storage heaters switch on and off.
It's pretty unlikely that you'll get all your off peak rates between 0900 and 2300 as off peak times are generally when most people use less energy which is overnight,
I'd guess that you probably get a total of either 9 or 11 hours of off=peak energy during three periods across 24 hours, usually most during the night (say 5)with a boost for a couple of hours in the afternoon and possibly another two hour boost during the evening and it's probably remotely controlled via a teleswitch. You might find that you get an extra two hours if it's everso cold a bit like some of the Scottish THTC tariffs where the supplier decides when they'll turn your off-peak supply on and off when they deem necessary rather than at fixed times.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1
