Virgin transfer of flight from Manchester to Heathrow

As part of their current re-organisation, Virgin Atlantic have e-mailed me to advise that our return flight from Las Vegas to Manchester at the end of August has now been changed to land at Heathrow instead, and the COVID-19 information page on their website states that they will not pay for any other expenses, which in this case would be to get us back to Manchester or Liverpool.

Are they allowed to to this?

Is there anything I can do?

If it's just a flight get a refund if you want one as the flights been cancelled.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

They can do it, but only if you allow them to. Good airlines would offer to pay for a BA flight to Heathrow to connect but we are talking about Virgin who has spent the last 3 months claiming they are about to go bust and therefore will not make any offer. If you don't want the alternative offered then you are entitled to a full refund, but you should be aware they are claiming it will take 100 days to arrange a refund from the date of asking, so think carefully!

Are you going to be spamming every Virgin thread with the same post, Patrick lovey?
