Should I buy now or wait?

I am looking to buy a Chromebook tablet/laptop, and new camera. But should I wait, as I have been wondering if all of the retailers will be having any big sales when they re-open to encourage people into their shops to start buying???

True big sales or higher prices due to lost profits .

Certainly one action or the other will prove to have been correct - after the event, though...

I dont think tech retailers will do reductions as most are still operating online and probably make most of their sales online anyway so they dont need to tempt people back. It is the shops where you need to try things on that will be trying to tempt people back with discounts so I would expect them from clothes shops, etc.

Depends how desperate you are for these items.  Want them urgently you'll pay any price.  If you can wait you may get them at clearance or end of line.

There is no indication that they are offering massive discounts on reopening. Most of them have been supplying on line, so haven't really lost out. In fact, most have made a killing from home working needs.
