Air New Zealand - Has any one managed to make contact with them?

I was due to travel to NZ in three weeks time, but have now had an email from Air New Zealand cancelling the flight.
They are automatically applying credit for the flights, but I want a refund as the travel credit doesn't help. I've tried to call them, but after 2hrs on hold I gave up. I've emailed them and sent a message via Facebook, but again no reply yet. 
Has any one managed to make contact with them?

Not sure if this helps...but friend has been trying too - she contacted family in NZ and they spoke with Air New Zealand - she had same problem not able to contact in UK.  If you have family over there might be able to get some info....although she does want to travel at later date.

I contacted them through the booking I had that was cancelled (IIRC).
I did have a Air NZ member number.
The email I received a reply from was
flightcomment@airnz.co.nz

They did take about 2 weeks to reply, initially, but then after my response, they took less than 24hrs to reply.
They are sneakily trying to give everyone a credit and ignoring your Eu261 rights to a full refund.
Stand your ground you are due a full refund under EU261 rules.
