yes, i know what you mean, gives an address in the UK on the web site but the web site registration is in Australia. It's only been registered since August.

All items that are in hot demand and hard to get elsewhere, Nintendo Wii's , iphones etc (only legit suppliers for these are O2 and Apple in the UK)

may be wrong but it does look odd

I was ripped off by mushave100, this site has a VERY similar format. Added to the fact they use a third party to take payment (just like musthave100 used paypal and google).

If you really must buy something from this site -USE A CREDIT CARD!! because if you use debit cards your money wll be gone if this is a scam.

Musthave100 set up there website months in advance and even delivered a few products to people. I thought, well they must be legit, they have already delivered stuff so some people...

It is possible (likely) that someone connected with mh100 posted on a few forums giving good feedback about the site. Remember anyone can join this site - and take everyones posts with a pinch of salt. If a stranger stopped you in the street to tell you about a brilliant deal you would be suspicious of there motives.
  • I recently ordered a ps3 on this site and now theres a message on there saying due to banking errors all orders have been cancelled and that all customers will get a refund. I saw this advertised in the sun newspaper and altho it looked odd i went along and orderd items off the site any way. FOOL! I waiting to see if i get a refund but i dont no what 2 do if i dunt get one??
  • You might like to check out the blog section of the site http://www.easywebstore.co.uk/ I believe they host the site in question.

TOTAL SCAM. halifax bank and police involvrd with my purchase
  • Don't know if anybody has already seen this posted on Yahoo Answers about an hour ago:

    "Dear Sir Madam

We got your email address from a forum which is set up on the internet, for you to post on the web that cheaper4you was a scam is total rubbish, was you there or involved no!.
So before you decide to accuse someone or some company of theft I would seriously consider your position.

Cheaper4you has told its own bank to refund all its customers due to the fact its suppliers could not supply us with the goods at the last minute.
If you or anyone who has lost out, contact YOUR own bank or credit card company you can raise a refund request, your credit card company will send you out a form to fill in and send back and a refund will get issued.

And as to all those sad people on these forums get a life spend your time doing something practical instead of setting up forums and talking a load of crap like a bunch of sad old wife swappers!!.

The Police are not involved as we haven’t taken a single penny of anyone’s money.
Simply the case of a company who bit off more than it could chew.

  • A report on www.cheaper4you.com has just been featured on the BBC2 Working Lunch programme today and it gives some background and some answers to peoples questions:

"Cheaper4you.com recently advertised low prices on a range of electronic goods in an advert in a national newspaper.

But several Working Lunch viewers have contacted the programme worried that they won't receive their purchases before Christmas. The firm's website blames a 'banking error' and promises refunds with immediate effect."

The full report will be available on the Working Lunch website after 4PM today (Monday, 10th December).
