why would i not be getting the furlough pay i should.

My wife has been working for a company for 18 months now, and was told that she was be going to be furloughed along with 3 others.

As the government say you get either 80% of what you were earning as of march last year which she was about £700 and then April was £560,Even if they were doing the average of the 2019/2020 tax year she should be getting an average of over £400 a month pay all she has got is £114 and April £109 how's this right???
Look forward to someone's help.

Have you tried talking to them to see why? From your figures the calculation is clearly wrong. But without actually knowing what they used to calculate it, nobody knows.

The calculation as you give it is wrong but until they have explained how they calculated not much else you can do.

it would depend what they have claimed, if they have claimed incorrectly they may not be able to submit another application.

Also check your tax account online to see what it states that you've been paid. The figure reported could well be different to what you received.

    Hi
Found out that they have submitted feb 2020 payslip but as my wife is on a zero hour contract they should have submitted the payslip for the pervious year as the monthly pay changes, so got to get in touch to see what they are going to do about it.
