You know the date you started on furlough. Normally then paid by the employer at normal salary intervals.0

What happens if say your employer claims furlough for May. Then two days later you go back to work as your employer needs you. They pay you furlough 5 days later. How do they pay back the 7 days of furlough they claimed?0

They should be paying you first then claiming it back, so they just do not claim from when you returned to work.1

Not necessarily. If you are efficient you can claim and get money from HMRC before paying staff.sharpe106 said:They should be paying you first then claiming it back, so they just do not claim from when you returned to work.0 -
If they have been that efficient and claimed it beforehand then they will have to get in touch and repay it. Although that is not really lovesilver problem.0
