Has my employer calculated furlough correctly? - 0 Hour Contr.

I was paid £280 furlough which didn't seem right.
I emailed payroll and they sent me another £65.
I asked how they calculated it and their response was "based on Sept 19 - April 20 average hours". Sounded weird averaging over 7 months so I inquired further and was told "sum of all salary earned averaged over Sept 19 - April 20".
This doesn't make sense to me. At least I am getting more than UC now.
Can anybody tell me if this sounds suspicious? I was communicating with head office payroll. When I average my hours over this period by hand it works out to £350 +/- 10% (depending if I include one-off hours or not)

I think I miss what the actual question was.
You calculate the average is about £350. The employer originally paid you £280 = 80% of £350. You queried it and the employer made you back up to £345.
The method of calculating average as you explain seems reasonable - if you have only been there for 7 months it would be unreasonable to average over 12 months.0 -
I have been employed there for 2 years.
They have paid me £345.
If you average all of my zero hours it should be £450
OR
If you average only my lifeguard hours it should be £280ish
What I'm say is I've been given either too much or too little.
Basically I don't understand how they came to £345 either way.0
