My partner also has a company car. She is furloughed and losing roughly half of her wages while on furlough, they also wanted to tax her on the car but she rang her boss and within a day they had drawn up a contract for all the staff stating that if they hand the keys back for the entirety then no money will be taken out of their wages0

@sam8787 - that is quite generous of the company really as they are left paying the lease cost just to save your partner some tax / salary sacrifice.0

I think they have put it on hold with the company they use. Its a very big tool hire company and as such they have hundreds of cars with them. They are way too cheap to be doing it any other way. Likewise I'm i have a van on lease from North Gate and the company I work for/with have paused all the contracts.
