Thanks for the info, hypno. Glad I wasn't the only one not to know what it was all about. When I asked I suspected I might be:o but loads of others have posted saying they hadn't heard of it either.

What a bummer it's on Channel 5. We can 'get it' here but whatever we twiddle to improve the picture it looks like its all taking place in a snowstorm. Very appropriate I suppose when your bit is about skiing:rotfl:

Good luck at the prison-it really sounds like it is going to be a facinating experience as well as a super debt-buster.
Just seen that my "What is your Why?" thread has got a mention in the weekly newsletter. I feel really honoured that it has as I don't feel I really contribute much here compared to many posters.
Right off to get DS out of bed and motivated for today's round of Mocks then off to the grotto-

Hello!! I missed MSE today

Anyway, a good day at work, still not got clearance, but it is being chased up. Apparently it is not the CRB but something else - who knows Anyway, I am able to go in and do some shadowing and admin, but because I am not "official" I only get half pay!! Bloomin cheek!! A whole day at work for half a day's pay!!

But, half pay is better than none, as long as I don't stop at Tesco on the way home and spend it all on groceries that we don't need!!

Thats a bit off, isn't it? Is that the best use of your time, hypno, to be there on half pay? Glad you sound like you've enjoyed it. I had an odd afternoon, was on here unexpectedly - a client didn't show up, but rang me to say so, and my T&C are quite clear, she has to pay. So I spent an hour on the computer and got paid my full hourly rate for it! Seems very naughty.

Hmmm to the half pay-but better than nothing I guess.
Was a hmmm day at the grotto too. Apparently Ms Company Troubleshooter managed to pee one of the elves off by offering her a supervisors job and then recinding it when she employed two experienced supervisors (one been me). Elf came in to tell us today that she quits so fabby little part time job is likely to be 7 days a week til Christmas eve. On the upside only half my shifts were at supervisors rate and we told them I want it for all shifts regardless of what duties I'm doing and they've agreed but I shall be knackered by Christmas as housework fest will still need to be done -but knackered and nice tidy sum in the bank ain't all bad. Sorry for the highjack and will now go back to worrying about Hypno's coffee cold turkey-that is serious stuff !!
