Aargh! I'm trying to "finalise" the bleeping disc, so it can play on other DVD players, which is what the info booklet says I need to do. But the finalise button is greyed out! I've tried to "protect" it and go from there, but finalise is still greyed out. Any ideas? I'm working till 5.45 or so, then off till 6.45, then working the rest of the evening, so only got a short window to do anything. Post any clues on here!

Oh well, b*gger that for a game of soldiers. I just tried it out anyway on my laptop, and it played. Taka, I'm going to take the risk and send it to you, my laptop is about two years old, and if *it* can play it, then most should be able to! Good luck!

Blimey, everyone has been busy busy busy!!

Taxi, well done on the pigsback win :j

I swapped "mummy taxi" with OH today as I had a meeting after work, so I have managed to get home a little earlier than I normally do.

I have about half an hour before they all get home, so I am hoping to whizz around the lounge, and make some sort of difference to it before they get home, when I will have to start cooking.

No, El, I didn't do it yesterday - I was too tired after doing my bedroom and the en suite......so I still have it all to do this evening, sadly!! Shame you got up early for nothing.....grrrr

Hellooooo to everyone else, and hope you are having a good evening.

woo hoo to The Dragon! Come on Snaggles, how are you doing? Are you rearranging the rooms at the mo? Hugs, anyway.
:D No, I'm not allowed to re-arrange them just yet....hehehe!

The bathroom is clean and sparkly though, the clothing mountain is gone....um....what else did I say I was going to do?

The kitchen is fairly clean although I haven't washed up yet and the living room is vacuumed.

I've made Ryan a fab new Doctor Who star chart for meal times, and I've sold my soul for £300.

Oh, and Ryan fell off the windowsill, and I put a chair down on Natasha's hand...

    Interesting day! :o

rtandon, all I can think of to say to that one is.........

    .....D'oh

I have had a quick whizz around the lounge, put a few things away, and shuffled some papers so they look slightly different.......that will have to count as having tidied the lounge......:o

Our student has friends visiting tomorrow from Norway for a couple of days, and I think that the bits of the house they will see are tidy enough......
