    Good morning!

I have started the day by ordering a £12 HMV voucher from toluna, so that goes nicely towards the free Christmas challenge.

I have also paid off a whole £4 something off MBNA - bloomin interest rate is so high that the monthly payment (which is made today) only pays a tiny amount off  At this rate, it will be paid off in about 300 years  Once the children finish skiing this season I will really hammer that figure down!

    Have a good day xx

Hi there - good to hear the baby steps, sorry about the exhaustion. This is an "ordinary" level of effort for you today, I think? Of course, that means only 16 hours, not 20.... Hope you can have some relaxation today.

  • Morning Hypno, have a good day.

At least it's £4 off the debt not £4 on  Hopefully once the HSBC rate drops you will see the debt falling away even faster. You are doing so well, and have come so far you're on the home straight.

You are an inspiration to so many people, I wish had even half your energy and drive

Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Just having a MSE catch up - have been down to see my parents for a long weekend, a much needed break and was bought a few new bits of clothes, cooked for etc which is always very nice.

Anyway saw your signature and had to come over to your thread to find out where the relative debt had gone! Congratulations :T :T

And I'm sure MBNA will be heading the same way soon - hope the weather has improved your way - yesterday it was lovely down south only to be greeted with freezing weather and fog by the time we got to Yorkshire

Hi stranger! Another few dozen pages of diary since I last looked - where do you get the energy/motivation?!!!

Glad things are going well with work, and you're doing brilliantly at getting your totals down - that rate reduction will certainly help (although I'm still not friends with HSBC!).

    It's freezing here!

Tonight is DD's options evening, so a quick dinner and then heading back out into the cold for that.

I hope everyone else has had a good day!

Brits Awards? Is that something that people under 30 know about?!
Note to self: don't bother watching the news tomorrow, it will be full of people you've never heard of making pratts of themselves!
