I phoned Creation this morning (9.55) and spoke to someone in the Solihull office. I phoned 03714028914 as given on the Asda CC website and chose option 5 and then option 2 - refunds. The assistant assured me that when the refund to the card was made, I could ring the same number and they could refund the money to a personal account when I gave them the details. This could happen at any time and even after the account had been closed.

As an aside, I have withdrawn my vouchers from the card and I do not intent to use it again as the account is clear. It will be interesting to see what happens as the cashback incurred on the holiday transaction, I have now drawn. I expect that they will claw that small amount back, when I claim the refund for the holiday. Hope this helps Lisawins.

I might also try to ask the travel agent to refund to my personal bank account altho' this will cost them their fee to Asda card.
