I know this isn’t money related but I just wondered if anyone knew if a baby would be classed a one of the six members of a family that you can meet from Monday have two sons and wives and I had a six month old baby. Can’t seem to find anything anywhere. Thanks in advance

I don't know, but i also wondered if a teenager that never seems to leave their room... especially when the "adults" get together....counts too. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0

I wouldn't worry about, nobody is going to be that bothered tbh, you wont be getting fined for having a baby with you. The most important bit is where you're meeting, it has to be outside only.Qu said:I know this isn’t money related but I just wondered if anyone knew if a baby would be classed a one of the six members of a family that you can meet from Monday have two sons and wives and I had a six month old baby. Get a job working for Boris then you can do what you want.
I seriously doubt anybody will care that you have a baby with you, assuming you are not playing pass the baby.

I wouldn't worry. They're not going to be knocking on peoples doors to ask how many family members they've had in their garden..

"So from Monday we will allow up to six people to meet outside - provided those from different households continue strictly to observe social distancing rules by staying two metres apart."

1 extra person surely isn't going to make any difference. I highly doubt they will come knocking at every single house in England...

I'm sure that whether a child counts has been asked at one of the briefings and was told that they do count.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'd use your instincts to look after a vulnerable child0
