Recommendation for office desk and chair

Hi-any recommendations for office desk and chair? I had a look on IKEA but one we want is out of stock. Google search finds some but then everything looks decent on a monitor... So looking for any recommendations..

Don't want anything second hand at the moment..
Thanks

Linnmon is what I have, as does my OH.
As for chair, that's something you need to try before you buy, what one person thinks comfortable another won't.

There are several other options. You can consider Posturite, Wayfair and John Lewis & Partners.

You can get some very good quality second hand office chairs and desks at a fraction of the cost of new ones (this is a money-saving website after all).

Try the commercial  auction houses or shops which specialise in the second office furniture.  My own home office has several bits and pieces of second hand furniture bought from a specialist shop near where I live.

I have been looking as well as I am feeling quite uncomfortable at my current desk, I think the IKEA LINNMON looks good and then some shelving attached to the wall above. Chairs is tricker but the go to recommendation tends to be the MARKUS but you really want to try it.

Mistral001's solution is the best. You will get a much better quality office chair from a specialist second-hand office furniture retailer, and you can try them out. Ebay is a good source of second-hand tables; much cheaper than a desk.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Definitely! I'm sitting in a Giroflex G64 High back chair. Retail they're over £600. This one from a local place that does secondhand office furniture was £125. Basically like new, and really comfortable.
  • Hey there! Office furniture shopping can be a bit tricky, especially when the one you want is out of stock. Have you checked out options for computer desks? Sometimes they have a good variety that might suit your needs. It's tough when everything looks good online, but hopefully, you'll find something that fits just right!
