Furlough Help!!!

Hope everybody is safe and well. As Furlough is a new thing there isn’t a lot I know about it. I am currently on the scheme through my employer receiving 80%. I was asked to work 2 days in May (this was remotely from home) to get my files up to speed and then go back to furlough leave. Does anyone know if I will be entitled to the two days pay as well as my furlough or even if my employer was allowed to do this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you and stay safe

Yes, under the rules of furlough, the employer decides whether you are on furlough and when to take you off furlough. If there is work to be done, it is fair to ask you back to do that work and then put you back on furlough. The criteria are that each period of furlough must be a minimum period of 3 weeks. You have to agree to go on furlough.
When you are on furlough, your pay may be at 80% or may be topped up by the employer back to 100%.
For the days that you are working, you should normally be paid those days at 100% (though the employer could ask you to agree to be paid lower).0 -
You should get the 2 days paid normally, the furlough up to then, 2 days normal pay then furlough after that, but they can't get you to do another 2 days until you have been furloughed for 3 weeks again.0
