New Car Not Delivered - can I cancel?

In March I purchased a new car from a dealer on PCP and paid a small deposit. Delivery was 2 weeks, then the lockdown occurred.
I am wondering now what the cancellation options are - mostly because I see the dealer now offering higher spec same model for less £month. I asked the dealer what my cancellation options were, and basically got a lot of waffle and no concrete answer. Before I go back to them - anyone here with similar first hand experience?

What does the paperwork say you got when you signed the order?1

You'd presumably lose the deposit but they should be able to cancel it. Was it a car from stock or being built?

Some have got their deposit refunded. I would ask dealer to renegotiate or cancel and buy from another dealer."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

So, the T&Cs allowed for a cancellation where a car was not delivered within 3 weeks, followed by a 1 week grace period after the customer requests cancellation allowing the dealer to conclude the purchase.
So I emailed a cancellation and received a phone call the next day very politely asking if we could have a discussion. I was open to that and long story short on top of what I considered a pretty good deal anyway, I agreed to an additional 2 years servicing thrown in, so a total of 3 years service free of charge - plus delivery the following week.
More than happy with that, so looking forward to delivery next week.
