Debenhams returns

Hi all, i hope you can help please. I ordered some clothing from Debenhams direct a couple of months ago and then returned some items via Hermes (as they are the courier they use). I have had some vague confirmation that they have delivered my parcel back to Debenhams but now that Debenhams are in administration I am not getting any response from them. I bought these items on my credit card, can i claim back from my credit card company?? Thanks in advance

What is the "vague" confirmation you got from the carrier that the goods were successfully returned to Debenhams?

Debenhams are not in full administration and like many other retailers it may well be difficult in getting any information back from them at the moment. A lot of retailers are simply not processing returns at the moment so you may have to wait a bit.

Thanks. I say ‘vague’ because Hermes collected the parcel and gave me a card with the tracking number on it. When i checked their website with the tracking number, initially it said they had not been able to collect the package. I then checked again the next day and underneath that, it then said they had my package. I have never been able to speak to an actual person but when i use their virtual assistant ‘Holly’ it tells me the package has been delivered. However, when i call the phone number and enter the tracking number it says they were unable to collect my package and if I still need to send the item, to re-book it! I assume the package has been delivered..... does anyone have any other contacts for Hermes?
