Cheap Energy Club - switching problem

I attempted to switch to British Gas from Octopus via Cheap Energy Club.
Unfortunately, I was switching dual fuel and wanted dual fuel but British Gas were unable to provide gas due to my meter being "incompatible", they attempted to continue with the energy switch regardless.  I contacted British Gas and requested the switch to be cancelled, which they did but the electricity did not initially appear back on my Octopus account.  After contacting Octopus they did re attach my energy to my account.

However I am unable to look at switching from Octopus via cheap energy club now because, 6 weeks after a reversed my switch, it still says it is in the process of switching.
Does anyone know any way I can get this changed so that I am free to switch again?

Other comparison sites are available, or you can contact your preferred supplier(s) directly.

I tend to use a couple of comparison sites, including CEC.  Would be good to compare across them.

    I'll email them, thank you

If you gas meter was deemed "incompatible" by BG, I suspect any attempt to switch to any other supplier will result in the same unless/until you get to the root cause and resolve it.

I'm not sure what an "incompatible" gas meter is, exactly, particularly if Octopus are already supplying via it.
