When do you become a New Customer again?
Options
If an energy company has a tariff that is new customers only how long after leaving them do you become a new customer?
i.e Energy Company X has a new tariff on CEC for new customers only so using a workaround to leave Energy Company X and go somewhere else without paying any exit fees how soon can you go back to Energy Company X as a new customer?

That is really something you'd have to ask company X..... but as a minimum you would certainly have to have received and settled your final bill which could take up to 6 weeks or so.Have you tried asking then if you could be moved to the tariff you want even though it is list as being for new customers only?Sometimes the customer retention department has more flexibility on these things when the alternative is you leaving them...0

You cannot use a switching site to switch to the same supplier and the tariff is only available through the switching site.0 -

You cannot use a switching site to switch to the same supplier and the tariff is only available through the switching site. With my current supplier I have switched my gas 3 or 4 times this year and each time to a tariff 'only available on switching sites' ...Sometimes it pays to just ask and be persistent. Worst case they say 'no'.0
