What is the expiry date of a deferred MOT?
The MOT on my car expires in June, but under the new (temporary) regulations, I can defer it for 6 months. This means I don't have to have it done until December. If I decide to wait until December, does that mean the new MOT is valid for another 12 months, or will it expire on its original date, i.e. June 2021?

The former.

The only change has been a one-off extension of the validity of tests due after March 30(?) by six months. Nothing else has changed, so any later tests are still valid for 12 months.
