    What you have registered in your name at the LR is what you bought. No more, no less.
    Remember when you went over the plan with your solicitor to make sure it was accurate?

    Unless you can prove - ideally with a paper trail - that that land IS YOURS, forget about it.

    Adrian is correct. You aren't going to get this land back unless you buy it, and that's probably unlikely. The triangle with the bus shelter was sold to the council. The green triangle 'leftover' was never sold to you. It's probably a bit of a mystery who technically owns it, and in other circumstances you could perhaps exclusively occupy it and reclaim via adverse possession, but given it's been adopted as part of a public pavement for decades that is impossible as it cannot be enclosed.
