Hello, I just joined ByMiles (underwritten by AXA insurance). I normally commute by train to work and now working from home. Usually use the car in the weekends for grocery shopping or visiting friends, so the quote I received is over £150 lower than my car insurance renewal from Hastings Direct. Based on fixed insurance cost of £174 for the year, then 3.3p per mile driven which is billed monthly. Until the end of this month, through the MSE link you get £55 bonus credit for the miles driven.
The online chat was very responsive prior to joining and today, when I couldn't figure out how to plug in the OBD.
So far so good. The ByMiles app is incredible. It has a 'Find my car' function and also has a OBD diagnostic check for free! You can plug in journey estimates for how much insurance would cost and also enter in the cost of fuel based on £/l & MPG.
PM me for a referral link past 31 July 2020, when the MSE bonus credit runs out. As through my referral link, you can still get £50 credit bonus (and I will, too).

Just did a quick check and wasn't any cheaper for me.
Got a base cost of £170 and if I did 3,000 miles it would come to around £270. I currently pay ~£200 for a 6,000mile estimated mileage (was 15,000mi pre covid lockdown, but that has changed and I was able to get £50 refund by reducing it down).0 -
Have been with them for three years. A base rate of 3p, then 3.3p, then 3.6p per mile has been applied. My requirement has been for cover up to 2000 miles each year, but in fact my mileages have been just under 1000.This year ByMiles has lowered the base charge somewhat, but increased the usage to 19.2p per mile. This will increase my premium from £235 for 1000 miles for the current year, to £317.90 for 1000 miles next (insurance) year.Furthermore, should I increase mileage (as I might) to nearer 2000 miles the price will increase from £271.29 to £509.90.It seems that rather than rewarding low mileage usage, ByMiles's underwriters are now punishing higher mileage.Trustpilot reviews list many similar stories in recent weeks.0

Great so far, April will be the start of my 5th year with them.
£237 and 5.4p a mile this year.
I don’t do high mileage, but if I do it’s all in one day and the maximum charge is £8.10.
Every other insurance company wants best park of £1100 a year.
Weird as the car is a 5008, 2016, 1.6 bluehdi, not a race car.
One at fault claim and 10 years no claims, over 50.
The most expensive car I’ve ever insured.
