Socially Distant Wedding

Hi,
My fiancee and I are due to be married in August this year but have arranged a provisional date next year to move our wedding to. Postponing is now our preference. However, our venue are saying that, if the ceremony part can go ahead, we can't reschedule and that we should go ahead in August. We have booked for 110+ people but, in the event of only being allowed a "socially distant wedding" then we would have to reduce our numbers drastically. Are they entitled to make this claim, that we should go ahead and not allow us to reschedule? To me, it looks like, they are unable to provide what we have booked, and should let us reschedule if that's our preference. Additionally, they have yet to confirm either way so we're sitting on invitations, ready to either send or not, and it's now too late for some things that we've booked from other providers. Would love to hear if anyone knows where we stand on this?
Thanks,
Steven
