Return to work after furlough

I have a small cleaning job which is paid weekly and I was put on furlough. During this time I took up another job and I've now been offered a full time job, which I have accepted . I have told my employer from the cleaning job yesterday and they have withheld my furlough payment from last week. Can they do this?I was due to be paid on Friday and she purposely withheld it. Also, because I'm not returning to her job, and have been working elsewhere, she has accused me of benefit fraud, even though she didnt say I couldn't work elsewhere in the furlough contract and has said I will have to repay all my furlough money as I haven't returned to my job for a minimum of 8 weeks. Surely this is wrong?!!

She can't make you return the money as it is not her money. She can still claim it. The money outstanding she still owes you. Did you actually ask her though if you could do another job?0
