Virgin Atlantic move from Gatwick to Heathrow

I am due to fly to Orlando in July from Gatwick. I think that this is unlikely to go ahead. Virgin Atlantic have reported that they are closing operations from Gatwick in favour of Heathrow but have not given a date when this is effective from. My booking has not been amended and is still showing as Gatwick. I currently have hotel and car parking arranged at Gatwick and will need to cancel this and re-book at Heathrow just in case. Does any body know when the transfer from Gatwick to Heathrow will take place? If the flight and holiday are cancelled, how much notice am I likely to receive?

We were due to fly LGW/MCO 25th june and received our official cancellation email on Sunday.
Virgin have already stopped flying from LGW - there will be no flights from LGW with Virgin until further notice. So, your flight will either be cancelled or rescheduled from LHR.....1
