in Credit cards
Sorry if there's a similar thread but I can't find any results.
I have a credit card with 0% on purchases that lasts for another 18 months. The card is currently offering 0% on balance transfers so I want to transfer a few hundred quid I currently have on an interest free store card that is soon to charge interest.
My issue is if I use the balance transfer deal, do I still get 0% on purchases and the current balance?
Would that be the norm?
When I try to sort it online the website goes on about endless techno babble!
I've tried to ring them to clarify but getting through is a nightmare!

you retain your existing deal on purchases.
Just be careful as the BT offer may not last the same length of time as the purchase deal so there may come a time when one is interest incurring and the other is not - at that point the T&Cs will tell you where your payments will be applied.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
