The Sun Holidays Refunds

Options
Apologies if I've missed this on another thread.
I booked through the sun holidays for a haven holiday, I contacted haven and they confirmed that The Sun would email me with the refund details. I am still yet to receive details of this refund, has anyone else had contact from the sun regarding the holiday refund? The sun website gives no contact details on how to reach them regarding the refund.
My booking was for the 20th - 24th April.

Appreciate any help or guidance on this.

I paid in full for sun holiday 17th April which was cancelled (half payment to sun holidays at point of booking and half to Haven for services, passes etc). I have emailed, phoned and written about 20 different times to various helplines/email addresses to try get refund. Keep getting told to go through website and click on 'live chat', but website no longer exists. Replies have me in catch 22 loop and no one is sorting out refund. The options so far appear to be re-book or cancel. I tried to re-book but could not find another holiday at same park for same price and all other options, on other dates or at other parks, involve paying a lot more money!! I simply want a refund! Has anyone else managed to get a refund? PLease can someone advise how it can be done. Seems impossible task.
    Would appreciate any help.

Did you have any more luck with this?
I cancelled our late August holiday (they sent an email about 10 days before asking if we would go or not) and received an email two weeks ago from Sun Holidays saying we'd receive a refund in 5-7 days.

This was meant to be around £210, we'd rebooked from Easter when we had originally planned to go.

I've received a refund from Haven of £2?!

Hello  i am wondering if anyone has had any luck or updates about this. Our Nov 2020 3night break was cancelled, it was a sun holiday, Haven have apparently given me a credit for the payment for their part for this particular break and have suggested i contact the Sun for the initial payment. I sent an email to them by replying to one they had sent to me explaining what Haven had said. Any info including an email address of who to contact would be useful, thank you and good luck with your refund. :-)

My park is closed – I need to move my booking or get a refund

Most UK parks are now open! Pontins and Butlin’s are closed until 17 May.

For Haven and Parkdean Resorts bookings, you should have received an email or letter if your booking has been affected by the recent park closures. Please contact us using the form below if you have not received this.

thanks for your reply Sheramber, i am also in contact with Haven regarding refunding the entertainments pass i could not use in April due to restrictions, we did go on this other break but they are refusing to give me a refund for the pass as they said i could of used the outside activities however we didnt' and you had to book anyway so they would of had a record of us doing this. I was told by staff on the site that i would be given a refund when i rang them two days before. Haven have not responded to my last email querry so it looks like i will have to make a complaint as i don't seem to be getting anywhere. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and what they best way is to put a complaint in as i have found the email process very frustrating and they don't answer/ respond to what you have asked them. thanks for any replies.

These stories sound like a scam on the part of someone committing to provide a service. It turns out that in order to take your money from them everything works, but in order to make a return, the client needs to jump over his own head?

Haven have still not addressed the issue i have raised with them regarding the entertainments passes, i am probably going to make a complaint, but not sure how to go about this. My mum said ABTA but they are not a member of ABTA and i don't want to go the email process again as i don't seem to be getting anywhere with that currently. Does anyone have any ideas? They have refunded me for the booking but not the passes which cost £38.00

I didnt pay by credit card so will not be able to dispute due to this. The Sun holidays have been great with their portion in contacting and giving an option to rebook or have a refund, i have rebooked with them for October. Just wondering again if anyone else has an issue with Haven regarding the play /entertainments passes? thanks ever so much for reading this and for your answers.

Does the pass say you are guaranteed certain  activities or does it say  subject to availability?

The fact that you chose not to use the activities  that were available does not necessarily mean you are due a  refund.
