Hi MSE ,
I have been an employee for a company for 12 years In Scotland and bonus is a big part of my wage for these 12 years every month , on my 1st furlough payment last month I received 80% of my basic wage which was more like 40% of my wage last year . I contacted my employer and they said that this was right , I am baffled by this ? My wage goes up and down each month and I advised that my paltry wage will leave me in serious financial difficulty . Can you advise please ?

I was furloughed in April after my minimum wage went up. This month my furlough pay is at the old minimum wage rate not new. My company has said that's the government rules. Is this true? If it is it means my pay is about 74% not 80%0

The minimum wage doesn't apply for furlough becaue you're not working, you're being paid to stay at home.
