Europ Assistance Breakdown Cover

Hi,

Just found a great price for full breakdown cover with Europ Assistance from InsureSupermarket. Price is exclusive to website at £36.25 for the year, including home cover at a £40 excess. Been on Europ Assistance own website and same cover is £65.00 without home cover, so price on InsureSupermarket seems fantastic. Just wondered if anyone has heard of this company or, even better, had cover with them and needed to call them out before. Got two small children so response and service is of paramount importance to me.

I am looking for cover later this summer.

I got a quote from their website,it was about £67 for 3 weeks,so i might get a price on the annual premium.

From what i have read,Europ Assist is THE top company to go with,but i have not used them yet,but i will deffinately be taking out cover with them.

Last year,i had free cover with my Barclays bank account,but to be honest,i did not have the confidence that they would be able to help me if something was to go wrong in the middle of France,i might be wrong of course!

Europ Assistance is a worldwide business established 40 years ago so their credentials are impeccable.

There seems to be a no. of threads on car breakdown cover - I don't know if I'm on the right one; anyway, can anyone help me on this, please: where can I get the best value breakdown insurance for 2 week's European motoring? I've tried various websites such as Europ Assistance's, but they all seem to offer a whole year's cover inc. up to 60 days in Europe.

I said there was more than one thread for car breakdown cover - after posting the above, I found one with a posting from gooismeid which answers my question; I'm now covered, for £34, by Vehicle Rescue Direct. Thank you, gooismeid.
