hi, i have a missed payment from mbna dating from December last year. To my knowledge I never missed the payment (it was 6 pounds left on the card!). I've disputed it with mbna who basically bounced it back to my bank saying they were unable to collect. I contacted my bank who couldn't really give me a reason other than the direct debit wasn't in place (I never cancelled the direct debit) OR I didnt have funds. Theyve sent me a statement which states I did intact have funds. Went back to mbna and they're not for removing it! They've opened a case but they're saying from their end they can't see why it would be removed. Im so annoyed. I've also had such a long good standing history with them and they've blemished my report for the sake of £6 which was the final payment. This is my first missed payment in the last 3 years so its had a big affect. I've tried so hard not to get missed payments. I've opened a case with equifax and transunion but that was a good few weeks ago now. What other steps can I take? Feel like I'm p!ssing in wind really. Thanks

One missed or late payment in three years isn't anything to worry about, especially as it's now 6 months old so no need to it too much effort into it.
