Move a holiday that is booked after October 2020
I am going away to New York in November and my holiday is booked though Virgin holidays.
I am aware that Virgin is contacting customers via email if their booking is before October to sort out new arrangements.
I have tried calling virgin and they will only talk to
customers on the phone if their holiday is in the next 72 hours.
I am now looking to move my holiday to February.
On the virgin website it shows a £50 per person admin fee
for amending/ moving a holiday, however I am currently having issues being able
to carry this out.
Can you please advise me of what is the best option: should I
wait until virgin will talk to be about the matter and risk loosing my deposit
and a portion of the holiday cost, surely Virgin could offer this as a credit on
the holiday in February, or do I cancel the holiday for November, losing a few 400
pounds which was the deposit and rebook for February?

November is some time away. No immediate rush to resolve.0

Assuming you are travelling on the 1st November at the earliest means your balance isn’t due until mid August you have plenty of time to resolve the situation without it financially impacting you, in your situation I would hang fore a little longer to see how the situation evolves.0
