District Enforcement Case struck out a month ago but Court have now reinstated it

It's the last day for the response form to be in and got email from Gladstones with their response form. They want it to be dealt with on papers alone - no surprises there.0
-
Was teh case actually struck out, or merely the hearing vacated?2
-
It was a letter from the Customer Service Team at the court rather than a General Form of Judgement or Order from the court so I'm a bit concerned now. Anyhow, it said, "Due to the Claimant failing to pay the court hearing fee, the case has been struck out and the hearing has therefore been vacated."0

LIkely they told a sob story and got the claim reinstated. No idea how they get away with it, but they do.3

Today was the day for us to go to court. DE didn't send representation. Case was dismissed. Another one bites the dust!!
Thank you to the Judge and everybody on here for their advice again I am so grateful.6 -
Nice result!1

They have wasted your time, now think about wasting some of theirs, read this,

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Good going! Any costs?1

No, totally my fault, forgot to ask - even when asked if there was anything else that needed to be sorted. Only realised when I was driving out of Manchester - what a gobbin!!2

Haha, but hey, you won! CONGRATULATIONS!
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
Promise us you will now take time to do these two consultations, as your ultimate revenge:AND - please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.
The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.
https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2020-00193#/section
You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
