Oil tank leaking

I appear to have a small leak in my oil tank, we are unable to see if it's the tank or the fitting.
Its double bunded? So a leak of the tank may be less likely.
If it was to be the tank how much would it likely cost? We are in the south west but the right side of Bristol where prices can be lower. Also if the tank does need to be replaced will we be able to transfer the oil to the new tank?
Many thanks

Yes, with many companies, oil can be pumped into a holding tank on a vehicle while tanks are changed. I would get someone to look at the outlet PDQ and not even suggest at this stage that there might be a leak elsewhere. They'll soon know if there is. As you are double bunded, there's less likelihood of a catastrophic failure, which can be a serious matter with old tanks.

Thank you, We've got the local chap coming out this week, his daughter and mine are very good friends so trust him with giving a fair assessment.
Now my Husband has had a look we can see it is all around the tap that's wet. Looking inside the tank it also looks like there is some oil in the outer layer too. This will explain why the level had dropped more than expected since we topped up a couple of weeks back.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

My 1800l bunded tank was almost £1k about 4 years ago. I built the base, which kept costs down, but I cannot remember how much the installation cost. I sold the old tank after running it down and collecting the last 50 litres in large containers. Amazingly, two people bid against each other and it went for £80 on eBay! I wouldn't have trusted it much longer myself.

In case anyone else has similar in future, the new tank was fitted today. It was a leaking valve after the inner tank split. Likely due to age as a few of our neighbours all went recently (they were all fitted by the council at the same time)
We opted for the metal bunded tank, it was significantly cheaper than the plastic version and cost us £1340 for a 1200 litre tank made to order, plus fittings. They also saved the oil so no further costs.
It was cheaper than expected as we had been quoted £1450 + VATMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
