Carphone Warehouse and O2

I didn’t know that Carphone Warehouse had lost its deal with O2. I was telephoned by them on 16 April to say that my O2 deal was ending shortly and the best replacement would be with Vodafone at £16 per month. I agreed, but have been sent no contract details from either. I was told my old sim would cease and only then to put in the new one from Vodafone. This didn’t happen and I realised that I was being charged by both O2 and Vodafone. O2 tell me they would have charged £14 per month for a new contract. It would cost £102 to get out of the Vodaphone contract, which they say is for a year. Has anyone else been tricked by Carphone Warehouse in this way?
