Grass Getting Burnt - Turf guard window film

Hi
It's nice to have sunny weather. The sun when reflected on my double glazed window is causing a heavy burn on my green turf.
I am looking for a "turf guard clear window film".
Can you recommend a solution to the issue with the product links?
Thanks.

Are you sure it's the window? Hard to believe this is happening in UK. How big is the window?

Agree, I've never heard of this, especially in this country. I can't see how normal sun, reflection from a window could possibly do this unless it was somehow magnified.grumbler said:Are you sure it's the window? Hard to believe this is happening in UK. How big is the window?
@abeezar can you post a pic?

From Turf Guard's site "How many property owners are out there thinking to themselves, “Why is my artificial turf melting?”In this country, I'd think about 4 and we have one of them here, possibly someone who cannot post links yet!

- it's less then x2 as big part (most?) of the sunlight goes trough the window
- the spot moves together with the sun, so it's short-time

Its a Townhouse. Window on 2ndFloor - 1m x 1.2m. Sending the Pic.
My lawn is lush green as been watering quite frequently and these spots have appeared recently.
Around 5pm I happen to be at those spots , when I saw up I could see the sunlight falling directly from the window quite hot/scorching in fact that I could only stare for 2-3 secs - implying its the cause for the burn.

Who mentioned artificial turf? I read it as being normal grass.Davesnave said:From Turf Guard's site "How many property owners are out there thinking to themselves, “Why is my artificial turf melting?”In this country, I'd think about 4 and we have one of them here, possibly someone who cannot post links yet!

I could be wrong but I don't think that's scorch marks caused by your window. Might be worth posting this on the Greenfingered Moneysaving forum.abeezar said:Its a Townhouse. Window on 2ndFloor - 1m x 1.2m. Sending the Pic.

Neither do I.Sun moves. If this was caused by the sun, I'd expect to see some sort of path, not isolated spots like in the picture. If you visit a big building site, you'll be surprised by the variety of building rubbish that builders routinely bury under a thin layer of soil/turf.0

I read it without judging, but because others expressed doubt, I copied Turf Guard's web site to prove this kind of burning was a thing.neilmcl said:

For artificial turf, yes as that is what Turf Guard is made for, not real grass though.Davesnave said:
