TUI - Can I pay balance & still amend later?

TUI say 'free' amendments to existing bookings must be done by 30 June. My holiday is not until 23rdAug to Greece so there is a possibility it may go ahead. Does anyone know if I pay the £balance would I still be allowed to amend it at a later date or would this be considered 'disinclination' to travel?

Check their standard T&Cs regarding amendments. Many companies will allow amendment, at a cost, up until the point where you check in online.

We amended our holiday to Greece with Tui under the 'free amendment' it has cost us for the same holiday an extra £280 each and also we had paid for prebooked seats on the plane as one of our party is a nervous flyer and had increased baggage allowance we have now been advised we have to pay that again as an extra - very disappointed0
