hi
I have recently passed my car test and am looking for insurance. i have 1 years NCB with a Motorcycle and am aware that this can be transfered to car insurance with certain companies( directline, churchill). the problem im having is that i select that i have just passed my test eg under 1 year. but then i am unable to select that i have 1 years NCB as the response i get is.. You cannot have 1 years NCB if you have been driving for less than 1 year.
i just wanted to know if there is any way round this, as i assume when it asks how long i have had license that i am being asked how long it has been since i passed my car test. any help would be great thank you

Hiya, it might be worth considering starting again to get quotes from a wider field. It all depends on cost. Don't forget quidco?

Try a broker. Remember you cannot use 1 NCB on two vehicles."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

It's sounds like "computer says no".
Try phoning and talking to a person.
This sounds like a restriction on the computer system and not necessarily the policy.
missile is right. You can only use your NCB once.0 -
I don't think you will find a good deal trying to transfer bike NCD to cars. Bennetts might do it or carole nashNothing to see here, move along.0
