How can I know what wire it is, especially from such microscopic picture?I guess, ebayThis is a random seller, but you can get two diameters you need for £2 in total.
- Split both sides of the double wire into two separate wires.
- Make the split linger on one side to accmodate long enough (say, 15mm) piece of heatshrink while leaving about 5mm of copper exposed for soldering (both single wires on this side)
- Pull the big diameter heatshrink on the other double wire.
- Solder both single wires (overlapping.
- Pull both pieces of heatshrink over the soldered connections (when buying, make sure that the diameter of heatshrink is big enough for this).
- Shrink them with heatgun or gentle flame
- Pull the bigger diameter over and shrink it.
Alternatively you can disassemble the saw and replace the wire.

Yes, but try a hair drier first if you have one.
