I have paid £6k for a holiday package through a TA to NYC/Cruise/Mexico Stay.  Understandably it was cancelled as we were to fly out tomorrow.  When I asked for my money back the TA said no but would give me credit note that if not used till the end of this December will get my money back then.      What can I do to get my money back please. I paid by Credit Card btw.
regards
Kenneth Carr

Raise a "Chargeback" with your credit card company against the transaction stating non-supply of service, (using proof of cancellation) also state that you have rejected any vouchers / credit note  that you are entitled to do under English law
Normally with a Chargeback the money is returned once it’s processed

The TA can dispute the Chargeback, but it must supply evidence to the card company.

The TA is successful, then the Chargeback is reversed and the money taken back  from your account

If that fails (it shouldn't) then it's a Section 75 on the credit card.
