Good afternoon
as per the title really..
ive been watching my credit report via equifax for free for a few years now....never paid for extra services etc etc

so I’m wondering do the extra services provide any additional information that the  free service doesn’t.

thanks

Rather than pay for equifax’s extra services, I would prefer to pay for access to the 3 main companies via checkmyfile.

Why when you can get all 3 free?

It is not very MSE to pay to see the recorded data on your three credit files, when you already have a statutory right to see it all for free.

    Why would you pay?

    It doesn't make sense...

Depends what you want out of it really.. many are happy with free access which only updates every month and feeds from one of the 3 main CRA, or you want “real time “ credit reports. I pay, IMO I want to know changes as it happens not 28 days later on next free report.  Experian / Equifax your “score” can change few times a month.

If your looking to build your score and understand how CRA work then I would recommend,  if you just want to check monthly on your perfect credit report then free will do

I wouldn't pay for something I could get elsewhere free, especially if I was struggling with debt.

    See: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/check-free-credit-report/

If I were you I'd cancel my checkmyfile subscription before charges kick in and throw the £14.99 a month I save at my debts.
