Company Share and Divorce

Hi All,
Not sure if I'm in the right section.
Marriage troubles for awhile which are likely to end in divorce this year. We own two houses, likelihood one he'll take and one I'll keep.
I am due to get some money from a different source in a few months (car accident). I would like to put this towards a business my friend is setting up. I'll have a small share in the business- something like 25% and he'll have the 75%. My question is when we divorce- can my husband claim at that 25% share? I do not want any complications for my friend.
Thanks all

I would keep your personal injury money separate from the marital assets until after the divorce and the financial arrangements have been finalised. You husband won't have any claim on this money.
