We used this company. It cost us £49.00 for both wills. Be prepared for them trying to sell their Wills for Life Scheme. It costs over £2000.

Wishman is right. Appointing guardians in a Will is straightforward to a Willwriting professional who will be already fully conversant in the area of family law, taxation etc.

I think the link he meant is www.ipw.org.uk.

Since solicitors do not have to undertake any training in writing wills, there's no guarantee they would provide a decent service. Though it can be safely assumed the cost will be a lot greater than a decent willwriter.
Public wealth warning! It's not compulsory for solicitors or Willwriters to pass an exam in writing Wills - probably the most important thing you’ll ever sign.

Membership of the Institute of Professional Willwriters is acquired by passing an entrance exam and complying with an OFT endorsed code of practice, and I declare myself a member.

If you got to the Post Office you can buy a will for £1.49 (I think) All you have to do is write it out and get it signed by somebody official and it would be a legal will. I can't find a link though, sorry!
