Not a problem as such but it is annoying!
I have recently had the Amstrad DRX550 installed in the bedroom and the blue 'Sky' light on the front lights the whole room up at night..
I've searched all over but not found out how to turn it off..
Although I did read on a forum that it is possible to do..
Anyone know how?
Or any other suggestions other than turning it off at night or covering it up with something?

I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Which forum was it that suggested that it could be turned off?
I have yet to find a suggestion as to how it could be done, as far as I'm aware, it isn't possible0 -
I can't remember I've searched that many. I think it was one of the Digitalspy ones.
Although they said it could be done they didn't say how.I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
I had a quick search of DS and the most common suggestion was stick a piece of black electrical tape over the light, and a one with an aesthetic approach, stick a piece of silver tape over it.
one did actually go inside and push some card in between the light and the frontispiece... I don't recommend it
A final suggestion was an eye mask lol0
