Newday credit card debt sold to Link

I have a credit card debt that has been sold by Newday to Link Financial. I don't dispute the debt but I'm not sure how it should show on my credit file. At the moment it shows as a credit card debt with Link Financial with a zero credit limit. The debt is £1300 so my credit file shows I'm £1300 over limit. Is this right?
I'd appreciate any advise!

Is it all Newday cards that have been sold?

Yes.It's a credit card debt on a Marbles card, owned by Newday.0

Ignore what credit limits are shown, you have a defaulted account which is the main problem for your credit file.
It should show as thus, the original entry from marbles should show the date of default, and a zero balance.
The Link entry should show the same default date, and the outstanding balance.

Well no, your not over limit, you no longer have a credit limit, just a debt, the relationship between you and marbles ended when the account defaulted, you now owe Link the money, its no longer a credit card account, just another debt to be serviced, so its showing correctly.
