Expensive Bird

We had to call out an emergency gas engineer - this morning at a cost of £105
We had a bird, trapped behind a gas fire - you could hear it flapping around
The chap came and took the fire out but the bird had disappeared up the chimney
We have anti bird cages on top of the chimneys - but, somehow a bird got in
He left it with the fire disconnected for us to let the bird out - if it reappears
Expensive bird ?

No, cheap bird, expensive gas engineer. Is it the same person who walks around our neighbourhood with one of those football supporter flappy things that sound like a bird trapped behind a gas fire?2
