Claiming UC? You may be able to arrange Power of Attorney for free (normally £82)

I know that, due to Coronavirus, there are lots of new Universal Credit claimants. When I was filling in my POA forms today, I noticed that you may be able to apply for POA for free if you are on UC. I thought that this might help others to get this organised while they are at home during this period. It is worth arranging POA, even if you are young and healthy as we have seen plenty of people incapacitated in ICU for prolonged periods due to this horrible virus. Having a POA in place would enable a trusted attorney to manage your finances / health decisions if you are unable to do so yourself. You just visit https://www.lastingpowerofattorney.service.gov.uk/signup to sort it. Full price is £82 and it's simple to do. No need to pay hundreds to a solicitor.
Hope this helps someone.
