 I just had an email from bare telling me they have assigned me a job for PPI insurance which invloves a full credit check. I've never said I wanted to do it! I saw it in the list of jobs but then saw what it involved and didnt request to do it.
I've emailed them straight back telling them I wont be doing it.

    Rant over!

I've not seen much on Abai either, though if you search for areas "other" select your country but then put a "space" in the last box rather than an area it will show up all the jobs in the country HTH

Thanks - but that still doesn't work for me.

    Thanks for all the info!

On my assignment I was asked to check in online, which made it even easier for me.

I usually use my mobile phone and pretend to be texting or something if I need to take any notes, but you can't really do that in an airplane, can you! :p

Good point about using a mobile phone for notes. Some phones can, supposedly, be used on a plane (in flight mode) but I think in practice many airlines do not even allow this (KLM do not).

It is probably best to get a seat as far from any aisle as possible and write really small and untidily so only you can read it.

I had that too. Those jobs have been on there for yonks. Maybe the combo of recording and credit check is too offputting. Is it part of their new system they are putting in place to make our lives 'easier?'

Mind you, folks, if so many are refusing them maybe an opportunity to ask for a premium? Do bare do that?

I've just had another email saying to ignore the first one as it was due to a technical fault. We are all still welcome to apply for the five remaining jobs though.:D

BARE have paid me more than double the fee in the past when they were desperate but I still don't want to have another credit check so am passing on these thank you very much.

Phew! I thought it was just me. It's funny how they can manage to assign me the wrong job - they haven't even got in touch about a couple of jobs I DID apply for, it still says 'pending'. How long does it all take??

Pammy - without applying for another shop and seeing hte screen myself I can't remember exactly what it look slike - but you don't type the date in you pick it off a calendar.

if you click onto "choose date" i think it brings you up the next screen with a calendar and you are able to click on the date you want.

Sorry I can't be more specific! If I find a job that I want this afternoon I;ll make a note of exactly what you click!!
