Help needed : Set up Freeview / Freesat with Magic Eye

I currently have sky+ and use the rf out to send the signal on to other rooms in the house (via an amplifier) and use a magic eye at each to be able to change channels, access recorded tv shows etc.
I'm planning to cancel sky and moving to freeview or freesat - buying a humax (or similar set top box) - any recommendations on boxes to buy (I want to be able to record multiple channels at same time as watching.
Does freesat offer many additional channels versus freeview ?
I also understand that freeview / freesat boxes do not allow magic eye to operate - is there an easy solution to allow them to work & allow user to view / change channel etc in other rooms as required ?
