Hi, so I just applied for a loan as the eligibility calculator said I was 95% guaranteed, the APR was shown as 3.1%, said it may change on application when checks done, applied and accepted for a loan, APR 13.9% on the agreed loan, I have cancelled the application as such an increase to advertised APR. Any advice or knowledge on best loan companies to apply for? Isn’t this false advertisement when the APR increases so significantly? I know that my credit rating may now be affected and so don’t want to apply again if this is what’s going to happen each time. Any advice welcomed, thank you.0
